● Features and Scope:
Impact resistant tool steel, composition, performance and 5CrW2Si similar single higher quenching hardness and high temperature strength. Usually used as to withstand impact loads but require high wear resistance of tools, such as lower grades mold pneumatic tools, chisels and heavy-duty work, cold shear blades, pneumatic hammers and other tools.

Carbon C: 0.55 ~ 0.65
Si Si: 0.50 ~ 0.80
Manganese Mn: ≤0.40
Sulfur S: ≤0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤0.030
Chromium Cr: 1.00 ~ 1.30
Ni: to allow the residual content ≤0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content ≤0.30
Tungsten W: 2.00 ~ 2.70
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: annealing, 285 ~ 229HB, indentation diameter 3.6 ~ 4.0mm; quenching, ≥57HRC
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching the sample 860 ~ 900 ℃, oil cooling.
● Delivery status: Delivery of steel in the annealed condition.
